The majority of Sophie's working life has been in hospitality and retail; from homewares to electrical goods (and even a hardware store) as well as a long-term stint at a café and her hometown pub. As her husband is a carpenter and she has always enjoyed watching and learning about the building process, especially learning how it can be done sustainably. This is how she ended up seeking out SUHO and applying for the receptionist position back in 2019. Now as an Operations Administrator and handling the finances of SUHO, Sophie is passionately finding ways to improve our processes, procedures and grow our culture.
Sophie is the friendly face you'll meet when you call or visit our Adelaide office, she recently said, "I enjoy assisting people in whatever capacity I am able to; whether it's chatting to a client about their dream build or collaborating with a colleague on an event or project - I'm always up for a chat to learn how I can best help!!"
