The majority of Sophie's working life has been in hospitality and retail; from homewares to electrical goods (and even a hardware store) as well as a long-term stint at a café and her hometown pub. As her husband is a carpenter and she has always enjoyed watching and learning about the building process, especially learning how it can be done sustainably. This is how she ended up seeking out SUHO and applying for the receptionist position back in 2019. Now as an Office Manager and handling the finances of SUHO, Sophie is passionately finding ways to improve our processes, procedures and grow our culture.
