Using his Bachelor of Industrial Design, Darren has worked in the manufacturing, design, quality assurance and testing of air moving and air conditioned equipment in the early stages of his career. After completing a Cert IV in Building Design and Drafting, he then transitioned to the building industry to fulfil his desire to design sustainable built environments. After a short period of time working in his own small business conduction home sustainability audits, Darren move to SUHO, starting his career as a star rating assessor and now runs the air tightness services.
Darren loves working with designers, architects, homeowners and builders to assist them understand and see the benefits of air tightness testing and sustainable building in general.
